Internet shopping lets you choose from the best the world has to offer - and now you can feel safe when you shop online with your Unicredit Visa card.

Verified by Visa gives you the peace of mind knowing that no-one but you can use your Unicredit Visa card online.

All you have to do is link a password and a Personal Assurance Message (PAM) to your Visa card. Once registered, you will be shown your PAM and asked to enter your password every time you shop online with a participating Verified by Visa merchant.

The appearance of your PAM will confirm your transaction is being authenticated by your credit union. Entry of your password will confirm you really are the authorised cardholder.

Once your password is checked, your identity will be verified, the transaction will be completed as normal and you will have the peace of mind of knowing no-one but you can use your Visa card online.

It's that safe - and that simple!

Naturally, you can also use your Visa card in the usual way at online stores that are yet to participate in the Verified by Visa program.

How do I register?

  1. Simply contact Unicredit on (08) 9389 1011 or email enquiries@unicredit.com.au

  2. We will then forward your registration information to you by mail

  3. Then go to the register now link and follow the steps to enter your registration information provided to you by Unicredit.

How does it work ?

  1. When you're shopping online, purchase your goods in the usual way and enter your Visa card number when requested.
  2. If you are dealing with a participating Verified by Visa merchant, a pop-up window will display your Personal Assurance Message.
  3. Look and confirm your Personal Assurance Message and then enter your password. Unicredit electronically confirm your identity with the merchant.
  4. Your purchase will be authorised and your order will go ahead as normal. It's that simple!
