How do I make an internal transfer?

You are able to transfer funds to and from your savings accounts as well as make repayments to your loan accounts. Simply select 'Internal Transfer' from the 'Transfers' menu and complete the required details.

You can also transfer money to other Unicredit memberships. To do this, you will need to contact Unicredit with your request for the memberships to be linked for 'credit' transfer.


How do I make a transfer to an account at another financial institution?

You can transfer funds from your Unicredit savings account to accounts at other financial institutions by selecting the 'External Transfer' function from the 'Transfer' menu.

You will need the BSB of the other institution and the name and number of the account to receive the funds. The BSB must be entered with a hyphen (nnn-mmm).

Please allow up to 48 hours for all External Transfers to be processed - not including weekends or public holidays. The date for payment for all External Transfers is the next business day.

External transfers are free to Unicredit members. They are not included as one of the 10 free monthly debit transactions.

Transfers to credit cards can only be made by using our BPAY facility.


How do I make a BPAY payment?

You can pay any biller that is registered with the BPAY scheme. These bills will bear the BPAY logo under payment methods and provide a biller code.

Please allow 24 hours for all BPAY payments to be processed - not including weekends or public holidays. The date for payment for all BPAY payments is the next business day.

All BPAY transactions are free and are not included in the 10 free monthly debit transaction count.


Can I get a confirmation of my transfer or payment?

By registering your email address with us, you can be sent a confirmation after every transfer is scheduled to be processed.

You can choose not to receive these confirmations by going to 'Personalise Settings' on the 'Personal' menu and uncheck the 'Send email confirmation box'.


Are there any limits on transfers or bill payments?

As at 01 October 2004, the following daily transfer limits will apply to all Uniteller online banking transactions:

Internal transfer $3,000
External transfer $3,000
BPAY $5,000

 


Are there any fees and charges for transfers or bill payments?

Some services available online with Uniteller are subject to a fee. You should check Unicredit's current Fees and Charges Schedule for further fees and charges specific to your account.

Internal transfer Counted towards your 10 free debit transactions per month but will not be charged for transactions thereafter.
External transfer These are free and are not included in the 10 free monthly debit transaction count.
BPAY All BPAY transactions are free and are not included in the 10 free monthly debit transaction count.



Are the payments made immediately?

Internal transfers and BPAY payments, when selecting the 'pay now' option, adjust the account balances immediately..

However, please allow at least 24 hours for all BPAY payments and External Transfers to be processed - not including weekends or public holidays. The date for payment is the next business day.

All internal transfers between Unicredit accounts and memberships are immediately processed.


Can I make future-dated payments?

You can schedule a transfer or bill payment to occur from 1 day up to 90 days in advance. All future dated payments will be set up as a periodic payment and you need to ensure that there are sufficient available funds in your account on the due date of the payment.

Future dated payments can be viewed, edited or deleted from the "Modify Future Dated Payments" option from the 'Transfers' or 'BPAY' menus.


Can I cancel a future-dated payment?

You can cancel a future-dated payment by selecting the "Modify Future Dated Payments" option from the 'Transfers' or 'BPAY' menus.

 

 

How far in advance can I set internal and external transfers to other accounts?

You can set a future-dated payment up to 90 days in advance.

 

 

Can I transfer internally or externally without adding the payee to my list of payee’s?

Yes, by not selecting an existing payee and creating new details in the payee fields the new payment will be processed and all the details saved to your payee list on completion. If you do not wish to keep the payee in your list, you can remove them by editing/deleting them from your list.

 

 

What happens if I make an external transfer and the money never arrives?

Firstly, check the details you entered when making the transfer, such as account number, BSB and account name. If the details are incorrect, then the transfer will be rejected by the receiving institution and will be refunded to your account within 2-3 business days.

If the details are correct and the transfer has not been received by the other financial institution after 2-3 business days, please contact Unicredit for further investigation.

Although the standard time for processing is 2-3 business days, some organisations may take slightly longer to process transactions.
