Win Theatre Tickets - The Swimming Club | 11 March, 2010 |
|
Black Swan State Theatre Company presents
The Swimming ClubWorld Premiere from the award winning writer of Life After George and Hotel Sorrento, Hannie Rayson.
Six young people from around the world, including two UWA students, spend one glorious summer together on a Greek island in 1983. They are beautiful, adventurous and idealistic and believe that the world is theirs for the taking. Fast-forward to 2009: these footloose and fancy-free types have turned into successful and driven people who are juggling careers, families and mortgages and are grappling with middle age. Each in their own way, they feel trapped by their life choices and are baffled by their children’s youth culture in the new millennium. Will a reunion on their magical Greek island be able to rekindle their spiritual fire?
Cast includes Caroline Gillmer, Megan Holloway, Igor Sas and John Waters - Director Kate Cherry

Safe Travel Checklist | 17 December, 2009 |
By notifying Unicredit before you travel you'll help us to prevent card fraud and look after your accounts.
Before you depart we recommend you check this list…
As part of your pre-journey plans always let us know where and how long you are away
Like all card issuers we monitor overseas card transactions as part of our fraud prevention programs. Overseas transactions are both a higher risk transaction for us and a possible indicator of card fraud. If someone uses your card in Morocco and we know you’re in New York that day, then we know we could have a problem. You will be assisting Unicredit by providing details, including which countries you intend to visit.
Make sure you replace your Visa Access Card with a new chip card
Unicredit Visa Access cards now have an embedded chip which prevents counterfeiting. Many countries no-longer use the card magnetic strip, so make sure you request a free replacement card and memorise your new PIN, at least two weeks before you leave.
Always have several methods of accessing cash and paying your bills
Cards can get lost, compromised, stolen or swallowed by ATMs, and if you’re caught out, you'll need to deal with weekends and public holidays, in addition to time-zone difficulties. A Redicard can be an easy backup to access cash, or a Travelex Debit or Travelex Cash Card can keep your main accounts completely safe.
Protect your PIN and magnetic card strip from skimming
Whether here or overseas, cover the ATM keypad with your other hand when you enter your PIN, and don't proceed if someone is observing. Try not to let your Visa Access card out of your sight when purchasing and make sure you trust the retailer. If you're unsure, its better to use another payment method.
Keep important details safe
Keep a record of your card numbers and the phone number for reporting lost or stolen cards (we’ve listed these below). Keep these with copies of passports and tickets in a safe place (not handbag or wallet)
Help us to get in contact if necessary
Provide us with an email address that you'll be checking whilst travelling or (roaming mobile) so we can contact you. If that’s not possible, a local contact who can confirm your itinerary is also useful. If you are going to be overseas for a prolonged time, please let us know and ensure you provide us with a contact address and telephone number

Pre-paid Travel Cards
Pre-paid travel cards are the ideal backup to your main credit card. They can be instantly issued over the counter (with a PIN) at Unicredit and loaded within two working days.
You can use a Travelex Cash Passport to withdraw cash from ATMs or, if you choose the Cash Passport Debit Card, to spend money in shops, restaurants and hotels while you're away, exactly as you would use a credit card at home.
You can use the Cash Passport card to access foreign cash at over a million Visa ATMs. The Cash Debit card also provides access to over 24 million Visa merchants and online retailers, as well as ATM cash. Online access is available via Travelex to check your transaction history and balance, locate Visa ATMs, and change your PIN and contact details.
Reload : You also have the convenience of reloading your card via BPAY ® from anywhere in the world, within two working days, simply by logging onto Uniteller and selecting to “pay a bill”, straight to your Travelex account.

Twice the Choice of Free ATMs | 25 September, 2009 |
| Unicredit members now have twice as many free ATMs to choose from.
The National Australia Bank (NAB) has linked their ATMs with the rediATM network - so that we can now offer our members free access to a combined network of over 3,100 machines, right across the country.
From now on, when you use your Redicard (or press savings on your Visa Access card) at any NAB ATM, you will be able to confirm the withdrawal on the NAB ‘direct charge’ window with the fee set to $0.00.
The number of rediATMs in WA has grown to 119 since direct charging was introduced, and with the option of using NAB ATMs, you will have the convenience and cost saving from a total of 264 free machines in WA.
Taking cash out with an EFTPOS purchase remains free, and is still the recommended way for our members to access smaller amounts of cash.
Find Your Nearest Free ATM: www.rediATM.com.au
The rediATM website now locates both NAB and redi ATMs |

Don’t Get Caught by a Phisher | 25 September, 2009 |
With the increased prevalence and sophistication of phishing strategies, its more important than ever to keep your passwords and personal details secret.
Phishing is simply a strategy designed to trick you into revealing your internet password or credit card details. It can be via phone call, sms, email, website or even in person.
At its most simple it can be a phone call from someone claiming to be from Unicredit (they may have stolen your statement out of your mailbox or bin). They often attempt to panic you by telling you that your account or card security has been breached, but they are very happy to resolve the issue (or re-activate your card) if you can confirm your identity with your card number, PIN or internet password.
A new computer virus has a more technological way to achieve the same aim. This virus is programmed to recognise when you are in a secure internet banking session - and then causes your web browser to open a new window. That web page may say something like “please enter your password and account details to continue the banking session”.
However, the most common form is still via email. If you receive an email claiming to be from Unicredit, do not click on any web links and do not reply with any personal details. The links will either be a virus or a link to a fake webpage where you’ll be asked to enter your password.
Unicredit will never ask for your card number, PIN or internet password
We have no reason to ask for any of these. If someone calls you and claims to be from Unicredit or an associated organisation and asks for your card number, internet password or PIN - hang up and ring us back on 9389 1011.
Only enter your internet password on the secure page with the floating keypad
The only time you should ever use your internet password is after clicking through from the Unicredit website via www.unicredit.com.au. Ignore everything else. You’ll never need to say your internet password out loud or type it into an email or a webpage - and we’ll never ask for it in any way, under any circumstances. If there’s a problem we will just re-set your password.
Never use internet banking unless you know the computer has up-to-date virus protection
The new viruses can’t work if they can’t get into your computer in the first place.
Decrease your internet limits and report to Unicredit any suspect transfers
If you report suspect transaction quickly we may be able to stop them, so use email and sms transfer alerts. Your branch can lower your daily transfer limits for you.
